House of Cards star Kate Mara has joined forces with KBH Jewels to curate a charitable Mother's Day jewellery collection, with proceeds benefiting the organisation Liberia Chimpanzee Rescue & Protection.

The American actress commented 'I don't just celebrate one type of mother. I think that celebrating all different kinds - whether it be human, animal, step-parents, adopted parents, caregivers - all of the people in our lives that help parent our children'.
